You can create your own PDF templates for various components such as Invoices, Vendor Credits, Credit Notes, etc. which will be used when you generate the PDF from respective modules. By default, system comes with pre-configured PDF templates for Invoices, Vendor Credits and Credit Notes.
Create a New PDF Template
To create a PDF Template:
- Go to PDF Template.
- Click New in the top right corner of the page.
- In the New PDF Template page, enter the required details:
Field | Description |
| PDF Configuration Name | The name of the PDF template configuration (e.g., Invoice Template, Receipt). |
| Type | The type of document for the template (e.g., Invoice, Purchase Order). |
| Template | The actual template file or configuration used for the PDF layout. |
| Header & Footer Configurations | Configure the header and footer sections of the PDF document (e.g., company logo, page numbers). |
| Content & Totals to Display | Define the data and totals (e.g., tax, discount, total amount) to be displayed on the PDF. |
| Table Configuration | Customize the layout of tables (e.g., columns for products, quantity, price). |
| Content Configuration | Configure the content sections of the PDF, such as text, images, and tables. |
- Click Save
You can also perform the following actions on existing records:
Edit PDF Template
Go to PDF Template tab, select a template, click Edit, make changes, then Save.
Clone PDF Template
Select a template, click Clone, update details, then Save.
Delete PDF Template
Select a template, click Delete, then confirm.
